Johnson County 48, Happy Valley 41 (girls)
The Lady Warriors were unable to rally late on the road.
The teams went back-and-forth with HV holding a 13-11 lead after a quarter of play, but the Longhorns took a 23-19 halftime advantage. It was much the same in the second half as Johnson County was able to get a little breathing room in the closing moments.
Amila Riddick and Kymber Pruitt had 11 points apiece for the Lady Warriors. Alex Moore added nine points.
Abby Dickens had 14 points to lead Johnson County, while Audrey Shaw and Mackenzie McClain had 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Johnson County 71, Happy Valley 57
The Warriors were unable to overcome a big third quarter by the Longhorns.
After the Warriors trailed 31-26 at the half, the Longhorns outscored HV 26-12 in the third to take control.
Grady Goulds and Lane Parker had 14 points apiece to lead Happy Valley. Austin Stines added 12 points.
Carson Jennings led Johnson County with 20 points. Landon Lipford added 18 points, while Ethan Smith tallied 17 points.
Cloudland 48, ACTS (Va.) 40 (boys)
The ‘Landers held on for a home win on Tuesday night.
Uriah Jarrett had 16 points to lead Cloudland. Bryce Birchfield added nine points.
Cloudland held ACTS without a field goal in the first quarter.
