Elizabethton 64, Sullivan East 61
The Lady Cyclones took the lead with two minutes left and never looked back.

Peyton McGee hit a 3-pointer to lift the Lady Cyclones into the lead, and Elizabethton was able to secure the win in the closing seconds on the free throw line.

Marlee Mathena had 17 points to pace the Lady Cyclones, while Kayelyn Nave had 13 points.

Jamira Smalls added 10 points.

Hampton 69, South Greene 61
The Lady Bulldogs won a thriller as Hampton snapped South Greene’s 24-game winning streak in district play.

Hampton rallied back from an 8-0 deficit to start the game, and the game was tied at 29-29 at the half.

The second half was a back-and-forth battle as the teams traded shots. Hampton took control in the final minute to secure the win.

Macy Henry had 20 points – including nine in the fourth quarter – to lead the Lady Bulldogs, while Hannah Smith had 13 points. Taylor Berry added 11 points.

Pipper Helle scored nine points, while Brea Hicks and Faye Carrico each added eight points.

Unaka 49, Cosby 41
The Lady Rangers picked up a win on Tuesday night.

After trailing 22-19 at the half, Unaka held Cosby to just four points in the third quarter to take a seven-point advantage into the fourth.

From there, Unaka was able to keep the Lady Eagles at bay for the win.

Haley Taylor and Alisha Harrell had 10 points apiece, while Katlyn Dugger, Hannah Yontz, and Emma Taylor had five points each.

Boys
South Greene 92, Hampton 90 (3OT)
The Bulldogs dropped a wild heartbreaker on Tuesday night.

South Greene took a slim 18-15 lead after a quarter of play, and the Rebels pushed the lead to 13 points in the frame. Hampton, however, battled back to close within 38-36 at the half.

The Bulldogs pulled ahead in the third, but South Greene was able to rally in the fourth and sent the game to overtime with a pair of free throws with 2.9 seconds left.

The teams traded shots in the first overtime, and Hampton rallied back in the final minute of the second overtime with a 3-pointer to force another extra period.

The Bulldogs, however, came up short in the third overtime.

Hayden Campbell had 26 points to pace Hampton, while Michael Anspaugh added 19 points. Geno Carrico and Tuff Robinson ended the night with 12 and 11 points, respectively. Chance Point also had 10 points.

Jase Roderick led South Greene with 32 points, while Cooper Kelly had 28 points.

Sullivan East 76, Elizabethton 37
The Cyclones were unable to keep pace with a hot offensive attack on Tuesday.

Justin Whitehead had six points to lead Elizabethton, while Will Churchill and Nathan Bailey had five points apiece.
