Unaka 61, Happy Valley 40
The Rangers jumped out early and never looked back to take a Carter County matchup.

Unaka outscored HV 14-3 in the opening quarter and maintained a 32-10 halftime advantage.

HV continued to battle in the second half, but Unaka was able to keep them at bay for the win.

Unaka was led by Joseph Slagle and Joe-Z Blamo as the duo scored 18 points apiece, while Landon Ramsey added nine points.

Cole Deakins led Happy Valley with 15 points, while James Murray had 10 points.

Elizabethton 61, Johnson County 50
The Cyclones used a quick start to take a Tuesday road win.

Elizabethton took a 17-7 lead after the first eight minutes and maintained an 11-point lead at the break.

In the second half, EHS was able to hold off the Longhorns for the win.

Jake Roberts had a game-high 22 points. Seth Carter tossed in 12 points, while Bryson Rollins had 10 points.

Hampton 78, South Greene 58
The Bulldogs pulled away in the third quarter to roll to a Tuesday victory.

After Hampton held a 23-17 lead after a quarter of play, the teams played even as Hampton maintained a 35-29 halftime lead.

The Bulldogs, however, took full control in the third by outscoring the visiting Rebels 26-15 in the third stanza and never looked back.

Dalton Holtsclaw had 19 points to lead the way for Hampton.

Michael Harrison had 14 points, while Cadon Buckles added 11 points.

Conor Burleson and Morgan Lyons scored nine and eight points, respectively.

Cloudland 79, KACHEA 49
The ‘Landers rolled to a fifth-straight victory on Tuesday night.

Caleb Sluder had 24 points, while Dylan Shell had 18 points.

Caden Clark and Jacob Street added 11 points and 9 points, respectively.

Girls
Elizabethton 58, Johnson County 23
The Lady Cyclones turned up the pressure in the second quarter and never looked back.

Elizabethton held the Lady Longhorns to just four points in the second quarter and just 11 second-half points to roll to the win.

Lina Lyon had 21 points to pace the EHS effort, while Renna Lane and Marlee Mathena had 11 points.

Brookanna Hutchins led Johnson County with eight points.

Unaka 58, Happy Valley 44
The Lady Rangers pulled away in the third quarter and never looked back.

After a back-and-forth battle in the first half, HV held a slim 25-23 lead at the break.

Unaka, however, took control by outscoring the home-standing Lady Warriors 20-6 in the frame.

That proved to be the difference as HV was unable to rally in the final quarter.

Lyndie Ramsey had a game-high 24 points for the Lady Rangers. Macey Ensor added 16 points, and Julie Simerly added nine points.

Scarlett Zeoli had 14 points to lead the way for HV, while Kadie Bailey added 12 points. Marcida Moore had seven points.

South Greene 58, Hampton 37
The Lady Bulldogs came up short on Tuesday night.

Hampton held a 25-24 halftime lead but was unable to keep pace with the SG offensive attack in the second half.

Taylor Berry and Macy Henry led Hampton with 10 points. Linsey Jenkins added six points, while Madi McClain tossed in four points.
