Hampton 10, North Greene 9
The Bulldogs won a walkoff extra-innings thriller on Tuesday evening.
A night after losing on a heartbreaker at North Greene, Hampton returned the favor in the 10th inning. The Huskies took a 9-8 lead in the top of the 10th. Hampton tied things up when Colby Clark scored off a Cade Nelson sacrifice fly.
The Bulldogs took the win when Brock Shelby hit a two-out single to score Cash Royston to lift Hampton to the win.
Eli Henson and Shelby both had two hits and two RBI. Jayden Kuhn was 3-for-5 with an RBI, while Memphis Nave had a hit and an RBI.
Eland Henson added two hits for Hampton.
In 4.2 innings of work, Brayden Otey allowed just two earned runs on three hits with four strikeouts.
Elizabethton 4, Daniel Boone 2
Elizabethton jumped out early and held on for a district win on Tuesday evening.
The Cyclones plated three runs in the home side of the first and added one more in the second. From there, EHS limited Boone to secure the win.
Bo Armstrong was 2-for-3 with two RBI, while Justin Whitehead was 2-for-3 with a triple. Ryan Kasting and JD Hooks each had an RBI.
Elijah Ambrose, Carter Reece, and Marshal Holtsclaw each added a hit.
Happy Valley 22, South Greene 8
The Warriors rolled to a win with a 12-run second inning on Tuesday night.
Greg Visser and Mikey Hampton had four RBI apiece, while Grady Goulds and Mason Belt had three RBI apiece.
Brody Wagner and Hampton had two hits apiece. Fermin Carrillo-Estrada had two RBI.
Ty Johnson picked up the win as he allowed just four earned runs on nine hits.
Volunteer 9, Unaka 7
The Rangers saw a late rally come up short on Tuesday.
Unaka plated three runs in the fifth and three more in the seventh, but was unable to keep the rally going on the road.
Bailey Cannon was 3-for-4 with two RBI, while Rylan Crabtree added two hits. Cooper Shanks had two RBI and a hit.
Dylan Davidson added a hit and an RBI.

Daniel Boone 14, Elizabethton 9
The Lady Cyclones were unable to rally past Daniel Boone in a Tuesday clash.
The game entered the sixth inning tied at 8-8 before Boone scored four runs in the sixth. Elizabethton kept battling, but was unable to get back in front.
Gracie Shepard was 2-for-3 with two RBI, while Lacey Gobble and Adrian Heading each had two RBI and a hit. Kaitlyn Gryder had two hits and an RBI.
Sadie Williams added a hit and an RBI.
West Ridge 13, Unaka 3
The Lady Rangers were unable to answer a pair of late big innings by West Ridge.
With the game tied at 3-3 heading to the sixth, West Ridge plated five runs in the sixth and seventh to take the win.
Kelsey Pasquale was 2-for-3 with two RBI for Unaka. Mikena Blackwell, Brooklyn Campbell, Mollie Buckles, and Katlyn Dugger each added a hit.
Kimberly Profitt had four strikeouts and allowed just one earned run on seven hits in 5.1 innings of work.
Portsmouth (OH) 13, Cloudland 1
The Lady ‘Landers were unable to shake off a slow start on the second day of the Grand Strand Classic.
Reagan Turbyfull went 2-for-2 with an RBI to lead CHS. Abriella Jones went 2-for-2, while Willow Bennett and Regan Blair each added a hit.
Freeport 22 (OH), Hampton 1
The Lady Bulldogs were unable to keep pace with their Ohio foes on Tuesday in the Grand Strand Classic.
Jocelyn Johnson was 2-for-2 for Hampton. Hannah Smith had a hit and a run scored for the Lady Bulldogs.

Elizabethton 3, Dobyns-Bennett 0
The Cyclones used three second-half goals to take a Tuesday night win.
Drake Teague scored in the 65th and 67th minute, while Thomas Lambert added a goal in the 75th to secure the win for the Cyclones.
