Mother Nature has thrown a curveball in the basketball schedule on Friday, January 12.
Due to expected high winds, all five games involving county teams have been postponed. Those games included North Greene at Cloudland, Elizabethton at Unicoi County, Johnson County at Hampton, South Greene at Happy Valley, and Unaka at University High.
The Johnson County at Hampton game has been rescheduled for Saturday, January 13. There will be four games starting at 4p with varsity action tipping off at 6:30.
The Unaka at University High game has also been rescheduled for Saturday, January 13. Varsity-only action will be played at 6:30 and 8 at UH.
A makeup date hasn’t been set yet for the other three contests.
