A challenging slate of games awaits the Warrior football program.

Happy Valley is set for a 10-game schedule that is split evenly between Warrior Hill and the road. However, it will feature 10 games straight asĀ for the second consecutive season, the Warriors will have their off week in Week 1.

The Warriors will kick off their second season with Jason Jarrett at the helm of the program on August 26 with the trip to last seasonā€™s Region 1-A champion Cloudland.

After the trip to Roan Mountain, the Warriors will make the trip to Sullivan North on September 2 for the first game of the region schedule. HV will open the home portion of the schedule on September 9 as they welcome Unicoi County to Warrior Hill. Cosby (September 16) and Unaka (September 23) will also make trips to Warrior Hill to close out a three-game home stretch.

The Warriors will close out the month of September with a trip to 2015 Class 2A semifinalist Hampton ā€“ a game which will mark the first of five straight region games to end the season. A trip to North Greene on October 7 will open the final month of the regular season.

HV will return home on Oct. 14 to take on Gatlinburg-Pittman, and then close out the regular season road schedule with a trip to Cumberland Gap on Oct. 21. The regular season will conclude with South Greene on October 28 in a rematch of last yearā€™s thrilling defacto playoff game on Rebel Hill.

The TSSAA playoffs are slated to start on November 4.
