The brackets are set for the District 1-2A tournament.
The tournament is slated to begin on Tuesday, Feb. 14, and run through Tuesday, Feb. 21. After the play-in games, the tournament will be held at David Crockett in Jonesborough.
On the boys’ side, No. 5 Happy Valley will open the tournament in the play-in game against No. 4 Johnson County. That game will be played in Mountain City at 7p on Tuesday, Feb. 14.
The winner will advance to the Friday semifinals as well as the Region 1-2A tournament, while the loser will see their season come to a close.
No. 1 South Greene will take on the Happy Valley/Johnson County winner on Friday at 6p in the first semifinal, while No. 2 Chuckey-Doak will take on No. 3 West Greene at 7:30p.
The Championship game is set for Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 8p, while the consolation game will tip off at 6:30p.
For the girls, No. 5 Johnson County is set to travel to No. 4 West Greene for the play-in game in Moshiem.
The winner of that game will advance to take on No. 1 South Greene at 6p in Thursday’s semifinals. The other semifinal will see No. 3 Happy Valley taking on No. 2 Chuckey-Doak.
The Girls’ Championship and consolation game are set for Monday, Feb. 20.
