For four of the county teams, Friday night will serve as a dress rehearsal as they participate in jamborees.
Cloudland, Hampton and Unaka will make the trek to Avery County (N.C.) for the annual jamboree. Action is set for a 6:30 p.m., start with punt, pass and kick challenges. Game action is set to start at 7 as Hampton and Cloudland will scrimmage. Unaka will take on host Avery in the second half.
Happy Valley will travel to the Greene County where they will face South Greene for a quarter of action. The event at South Greene is set to start at 6 p.m., with a skills combine. After the combine, teams will square off for a quarter of play.
Elizabethton will not be participating in a jamboree.
