The Lady ‘Landers picked up a huge road league win on Friday night after erasing an early double-digit lead.

After North Greene held a 17-6 lead after a quarter of play, Cloudland went to work methodically cutting into the gap with a balanced attack. CHS trailed 24-19 at the break.

The Lady ‘Landers held NG to just four points in the third quarter and four points in the fourth to rally past the Lady Huskies and take the win.

Isabella Christman finished with 12 points to lead CHS, while Saharra McKinney had nine points.

Zoe Sanders led NG with 11 points.

The Cyclones won a wild classic on Friday night.
Elizabethton erased a double-digit fourth-quarter deficit and stormed back to take a win in three overtimes at Sullivan East.

EHS jumped out to a 23-19 lead after a quarter of play, but East pulled ahead late in the second to take a 42-38 advantage into the half.

The Patriots slowly built a nine-point lead by the end of the third and led the Cyclones by double-digits in the opening minutes.

Elizabethton, however, wasn’t going to be denied as EHS went on a quick run to trim the lead to one point, and then took the lead in the final seconds before East could tie the game and force overtime.

After the teams traded shots in the first two overtime periods, Elizabethton – who had four players foul out in the game – jumped out early in the third overtime and then held on in the closing seconds as East went on a late rally but missed a potential game-winner.

Mason Ball had 33 points to lead Elizabethton, while Dalton Mitchell had 29 points. Nate Stephens finished with 22 points.

Sullivan East was paced by Drake Fisher who tallied 42 points in the contest.

North Greene 56, Cloudland 39 (boys)
The ‘Landers came up short in the second half Friday night.

Cloudland kept pace with the Huskies in the first half as NG held an 11-10 lead after a quarter of play, and CHS stayed within striking distance in the second quarter as they trailed 25-20 at the break.

The ‘Landers kept battling in the second half, but the Huskies were able to slowly add to their lead and get some breathing room and the win.

Jacob Street had 18 points to lead Cloudland. Ryan Sexton added 12 points, and Cayden Clarke finished with nine points.
