The Climate Controllers Player of the Week resides in Hampton this week.
Dominique Burleson has been named this week’s Climate Controllers Player of the Week for his performance in the win against Unaka.
Burleson finished the night with 184 yards on 15 carries with key runs helping Hampton jump out and get in the game in control.
The running back scored on a 54-yard run in the third quarter that sparked the Bulldogs to reel off 22 points in the second half.
Burleson joins teammate Levi Lunsford as Climate Controllers Players of the Week.
Other selections include Reagan Ensor (HV), Joseph Sowards (HV), Landon Ramsey (Unaka), Gage McKinney (Cloudland), and Nick Stephens (Elizabethton).
Burleson and company are set to host Daniel Boone on Thursday night for a battle of state-ranked teams.
