Elizabethton 59, Science Hill 44
The Lady Cyclones hit the gas early and never looked back to remain undefeated at home for the 2021-22 regular season.
EHS jumped out to a 20-6 lead over the Lady Hilltoppers in the first quarter and pushed the advantage to 33-12 by halftime.
From there, EHS cruised to take the victory.
Lina Lyon had 20 points to lead the way, while Renna Lane added 15 points. Katie Lee finished the game with 12 points.
Unaka 46, Jellico 11
The Lady Rangers rolled to a win on Saturday afternoon.
Unaka raced out to a 22-1 lead over the first eight minutes.
UHS continued to limit Jellico in the second quarter as Unaka pushed the lead to 34-3 at the break.
Lyndie Ramsey had 22 points while Kiki Forney added eight points.
In all, nine Unaka players reached the scorebook during the win.
Hampton 60, Chuckey-Doak 45
The Lady Bulldogs pulled away in the final quarter to take a nonconference victory.
After trailing 10-8 after a quarter of play, Hampton was able to take a slim 26-22 advantage into the second half.
Chuckey-Doak, however, used an early third-quarter lead to take a three-possession advantage before Hampton reeled off a quick run of their own to take a 39-34 advantage after three-quarters of play.
From there, it was all Hampton as they stretched the lead to secure the win.
Taylor Berry had 13 points to lead Hampton. Madi McClain and Piper Helle had 12 and 11 points, respectively, while Macy Henry added 10 points.
Hampton 78, Chuckey-Doak 60
The Bulldogs took control early for a victory on Saturday night.
Hampton took a 25-15 lead after a quarter of play and pushed the advantage to 46-31 at the break.
The second half was much the same as Hampton was never challenged.
Cadon Buckles had 26 points to lead the way, while Michael Harrison added 15 points.
Conor Burleson and Logan Whitehead finished with 10 points apiece.
