The brackets are set for the 2016 Wayne Hodge State Farm Classic at Elizabethton for this upcoming weekend. The games will be held at EHS as well as at TA Dugger on Friday and Saturday.
On Friday, the action will start with a Carter County matchup as the Lady Cyclones will take on Unaka at EHS with a 4 p.m., first pitch. Unaka will take on Silverdale in the second game of the evening at 5:30p.m., while Chuckey-Doak and Silverdale (7 p.m) and Sullivan North and Sullivan Central (8:30 p.m.) will round out day one action at EHS.
TA Dugger will see Chuckey-Doak and Sullivan South at 4:30 p.m., on Friday followed by Sullivan South and Sullivan North at 6 p.m.
Saturday’s action will start at EHS as the host Lady Cyclones will take on Sullivan Central at 9 a.m., and then take on Silverdale at 10:30 a.m. Sullivan South and Cloudland will square off at 12 to wrap up pool play at EHS.
Hampton and Sullivan North will kick off the action at TA Dugger at 9:30 a.m., on Saturday, with Unaka taking on Chuckey-Doak at 11 a.m., to wrap up pool play at the location.
Once pool play is completed, the teams will be seeded into divisions. The top four seeds will be play in the Gold Division at EHS, while the lower four will play in the Silver Division at TA Dugger. Semifinal times for both locations at set for 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., and both championship games are set for 5:30 p.m.
