Following the monumental 23-3 win over Vanderbilt on Saturday night in Nashville, Tenn., ETSU Football finds itself in both national FCS Top 25 rankings. The Bucs are ranked No. 15 in the latest Stats Perform FCS Top-25 poll, while climbing to 19th in the most recent AFCA Coaches Poll.

This is the first time the Bucs are ranked this season and the highest ranking since slated 12th in the Sports Network Poll and USA Today Coaches Poll on Oct. 27, 1997.

The Blue & Gold cracked the Top 25 thanks to a dominating performance that saw ETSU become just the second FCS team to hold an SEC team without a touchdown since the FBS/FCS split in 1978. The Bucs are the first FCS team to hold an SEC squad from finding the endzone since 1992 when The Citadel upended Arkansas, 10-3.

ETSU will take its 1-0 start to the season into this weekend’s home opener where the Blue & Gold will welcome UVA Wise into town. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. at William B. Greene, Jr. Stadium.
