The last Tennessee AP Prep Football poll saw two Carter County teams represented.
In Class 2A, Hampton dropped two spots after the heartbreaking 21-20 decision to Daniel Boone last Thursday night.
The Bulldogs tallied 84 points – just four points behind No. 2 Fairley. Hampton received one first-place vote.
Tyner Academy jumped to No. 1 in this week’s poll. Westview and East Robertson were No. 4 and No. 5, respectively.
In Class 4A, Elizabethton received votes in the latest poll – just nine points behind No. 10 Craigmont.
Greeneville was the unanimous No. 1 with Anderson County coming in at No. 2.
