Elizabethton scored early and often on Friday night.
The Cyclones blasted Sullivan East for a 63-0 victory in Elizabethton in a game where the outcome was never in jeopardy.
With the win, Elizabethton improves to 3-0 on the season.
EHS set the tone early.
Austin Outlander broke free for a 41-yard run and Jaxton Holly added an extra point to give EHS a 7-0 lead. After the Cyclones recovered a fumble on the ensuing kickoff, Corey Russell scored on a short run to take a 14-0 advantage.
Russell caught an 80-yard pass from Everett for the game’s third touchdown, and Bryson Rollins sent EHS into the second quarter with a 28-0 lead.
Evan Perkins caught an Everett pass for a 26-yard touchdown after a the Cyclones defensive forced a fumble. Two rushing touchdowns, one from Rollins and the other from Russell, sent Elizabethton into the locker room up 49-0.
Everett and Perkins connected fora. 18-yard touchdown in the second half, and Rollins capped off the scoring with a 13-yard run.
The Cyclones return to action next Friday night at Daniel Boone.
