Elizabethton continued to hold steady, while three county schools received votes in this week’s edition of the Tennessee AP Prep Football Poll.
In Class 4A, Elizabethton remained at No. 3 with 128 points. EHS also received one first-place vote, and came in just five points behind No. 2 Upperman.
Pearl-Cohn remained No. 1. Hardin County and Greeneville were ranked No. 4 and No. 5, respectively, as the top five remained the same.
In Class 2A, Hampton received 15 points – just seven points behind a tie for No. 10 with Mitchell and Mt. Pleasant – while Happy Valley came in 17 points behind the No. 10 spot with five points.
In Class A, Cloudland received 11 points, and were just four points behind No. 10 Whitwell.
