A school-record-breaking performance stood out in Week 7.
Hampton’s Dominique Burleson has been named the Climate Controllers Player of the Week for Week 7 for his performance at Eagleton. It is the second time this season that Burleson has been selected.
The running back had 354 yards on 27 carries with four touchdowns. It was a new school record for rushing yards in a single game.
Burleson is the first player this season to be selected as Climate Controllers of the Week twice. Burleson joins Kyle Birchfield (Cloudland), Dylan Trivett (Hampton), Rhett Slagle (Elizabethton), AJ Greenless (Unaka), and Aidan Paul (Happy Valley) as selections this season.
Burleson and company are set to host West Greene on Friday night.
