Hampton senior quarterback Coby Jones recorded 312 yards of offense against Sweetwater in the first round, and has been named the Climate Controllers’ Player of the Week.
Jones threw for over 200 yards and two touchdowns. On the ground, the quarterback rushed for 106 yards.
Defensively, Jones tallied eight total tackles in the game.
Hampton rolled to a 48-7 victory over Sweetwater in the first round.
The Bulldogs return to action on Friday as they welcome Austin East to J.C. Campbell Stadium.
