The final AP Prep Basketball poll of the season continued to have a Carter County flair.
The Lady Cyclones remain ranked atop the Class AA poll while the Hampton boys maintained a No. 9 spot in the Class A Boys poll.
Elizabethton garnered all 16 first-place votes to claim the top spot. McMinn Central and Westview rounded out the top three.
The Lady Cyclones finished the regular season with a 27-0 mark, and will start the District 1-AA tournament this week.
The Hampton boys finished the season in the No. 9 spot with a 21-6 record. Halls claimed 15 of the 16 first-place votes to take the top spot, while Clay Count and Mitchell rounded out the top three.
The Bulldogs closed out the regular season on Monday night with a trip to Unicoi County, and start District 1-A play this weekend.
