Cloudland rolled to a Senior Day win over a county foe Friday night.
The Lady ‘Landers captured a 12-2 win over Hampton in Roan Mountain in District 1-A.
Cloudland opened the scoring in the bottom of the second with two runs, but Hampton was able to get one of those back in the top of the second. CHS, however, took control in the second with four runs and a five-run fifth inning secured the win.
Reagan Turbyfill was 3-for-3 with two RBI, while Regan Blair was 3-for-3 with an RBI. Willow Bennett had three RBI and two hits.
Peyton Preswood tallied two RBI and a hit, and Savannah McCoury had two RBI and a hit. Jayla Harper added two hits. Khloe Johnson and Zoe Gardner had a hit and an RBI, respectively.
Hadley Vines and Nalei Deloach had a hit and an RBI for the Lady Bulldogs. Hannah Smith and Emma Birchfield each had a hit.
