The Hampton boys’ basketball team knows the path to a gold ball.
The brackets for the TSSAA Boys’ Basketball BlueCross Basketball Championships have been unveiled on Tuesday morning.
A blind draw was held to determine the brackets.
The Bulldogs will open the tournament at 3:45 ET/2:45 CT on Wednesday, March 15, against Humboldt in the second Class A quarterfinal.
Humboldt advanced to the state tournament with a 51-48 victory over MASE in the Class A State Tournament. The Vikings are 19-12 overall.
The winner of the Hampton/Humboldt game will advance to take on the winner of the Fayetteville and Chattanooga Prep contest in a Friday, March 17 semifinal.
In the bottom of the bracket, Middleton and East Robertson will square off in a quarterfinal, while University High and McKenzie will face off in the other quarterfinal.
